We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LPN Supervisor to oversee, mentor, and nurture a team of nurses, HHAs, resident care aides, and medication technicians in the Wellness/Resident Services Center of our luxury assisted living community. In the absence of the Director, you will act as the shift supervisor, providing attentive care to residents in managing their activities of daily living (ADLs) and administering medications—all while leading the team with skill and genuine kindness. Your role is essential to the care, safety, and quality of life of our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of nurses, HHAs, resident care aides, and medication technicians.
  • Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director of Wellness.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and medication administration.
  • Provide caring and professional support to residents, enhancing their quality of life and general wellbeing.
  • Follow all policies and procedures and adhere to the instructions of the Director of Wellness.
  • Prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work independently.

Requirements

  • Active LPN certification.
  • Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home, or similar environment.
  • Genuine desire to improve the quality of life for residents.
  • Experience assisting those with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia is a plus.
  • Caring, reliable, and observant with a strong understanding of MARs and doctors' orders.
