About the role
The LPN Supervisor oversees, mentors, and nurtures a team of healthcare professionals in the Wellness/Resident Services Center of The Bristal, a luxury assisted living community.
Responsibilities
- Provide caring and attentive help to residents in managing their activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Administer residents’ medications under the guidance of the Director of Wellness
- Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, ensuring the smooth operation of the center
- Care for residents with skill and genuine kindness, contributing to their overall wellbeing
- Follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to the instructions of the Director of Wellness
- Supervise and oversee a team of nurses, HHA’s, resident care aides, and medication technicians
- Assist with the implementation of resident care plans and ensure compliance with medical orders
- Manage the daily operations of the Wellness/Resident Services Center, including scheduling, inventory management, and communication with residents and families
- Collaborate with other departments within The Bristal to ensure seamless care coordination
- Ensure the safety and comfort of residents at all times
- Document resident care activities and medication administration accurately and timely
- Participate in regular training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Support the Director of Wellness in planning and executing special events and activities for residents
Requirements
- Active LPN certification
- Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home, or similar environment
- A genuine desire to improve the quality of life of our residents
- Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia (a plus)
- Caring, reliable, and observant nature
- An understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
