LPN Shift Supervisor: Friday, Saturday, & Monday 7:00pm - 7:30am

About the role

The LPN Supervisor position at The Bristal Assisted Living is ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of seniors. Reporting to the Director of Wellness, this role involves overseeing, mentoring, and nurturing a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care for residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor a team of nurses, HHA’s, resident care aides, and medication technicians in the Wellness/Resident Services Center
• Provide hands-on assistance to residents in managing their ADLs and administering medications
• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, ensuring the smooth operation of the center
• Care for residents with skill and genuine kindness, contributing to their overall wellbeing
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, and follow the Director's instructions
• Assist residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia, if applicable
• Exhibit excellent prioritization, multitasking, and independent working skills

Requirements

• Active LPN certification
• At least 1 year of staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home, or similar environment
• A genuine desire to improve the quality of life for residents
• Caring, reliable, and observant personality
• Understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and dementia care is a plus
