About the role

The LPN Supervisor position at The Bristal Assisted Living is a leadership role designed for individuals who want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors. Reporting to the Director of Wellness, this role involves overseeing, mentoring, and nurturing a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care for residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor a team of nurses, HHA’s, resident care aides, and medication technicians in the Wellness/Resident Services Center
• Provide hands-on assistance to residents in managing their ADLs and administering medications
• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents
• Lead the team in providing compassionate and attentive care to residents with skill and genuine kindness
• Follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to the instructions of the Director of Wellness
• Supervise and oversee medication administration, ensuring accuracy and adherence to MAR’s and doctors' orders

Requirements

• Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home, or similar environment
• Active LPN certification
• A genuine desire to improve the quality of life of residents
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia (a plus)
• Caring, reliable, and observant personality
• Understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders

• Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care
