LPN Residential
About the role
Possession of a current and valid license as a practical nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health conditions preferred. Experience working in a residential group setting is a plus. Basic computer skills - MS Word, Outlook preferred. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver's license is required. CPR certification required within first three months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team including a Registered Nurse, Residential Managers and staff to ensure the health of the individuals in the home.
- Implement ISP objectives and healthcare plans.
- Assist with tube feeding and tube medication administration.
- Wound care, catheter and ostomy care, diabetes management, attending medical appointments, participating in ADL skill development.
- Participate in other duties as directed by Residential Management staff.
