LPN Residential

About the role

The Edinburg Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time or part-time position. The ideal candidate must possess a current and valid license as a practical nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration and have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health conditions, as well as experience in a residential group setting.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team including a Registered Nurse, Residential Managers and staff to ensure the health of the individuals in the home.
• Implement ISP objectives and healthcare plans.
• Assist with tube feeding and tube medication administration.
• Provide wound care, catheter and ostomy care, diabetes management, and attend medical appointments.
• Participate in ADL skill development and other duties as directed by Residential Management staff.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license is required.
• CPR certification required within first three months of hire.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current and valid license as a practical nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration required.
• Basic computer skills - MS Word, Outlook preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Full-time or part-time positions available.

Pay

$30.60 per hour.
