About the role
Seeking an experienced Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) to join a Regional Float Pool, providing bedside care across multiple hospital facilities in the East Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients according to professional standards.
- Floating between designated facilities and units such as Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency Department, and specialty units.
- Collaborating with diverse healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Key Duties
- Providing direct patient care, ensuring safety, and adhering to clinical protocols.
- Adapting to various clinical environments and patient needs.
- Maintaining documentation and communicating effectively with team members.
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and current LPN licensure.
- Recent bedside LPN experience, with a minimum of one year for Med/Surg and two years for specialized units.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS (as applicable), and IV certification.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move patients up to 50 pounds.
