LPN - Full Time Nights

About the role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed professional. Ensures professional accountability, coordinates care with other departments, and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administers care to adult medical patients on a Med-surg Telemetry unit
• Contributes to innovative nursing projects through quick PDSA cycles
• Develops critical thinking, assessment, and clinical skills
• Provide bedside care and ensure patient safety
• Uphold confidentiality and participate in quality improvement initiatives within a Med-surg Telemetry setting
• Maintain licensure and certifications as required

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
• Active LPN license and current LPN-IV certification
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire

Qualifications

Experience level is flexible, ranging from new to experienced LPNs.

Skills

• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring is preferred
