LPN - Full Time Nights

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care to residents of all ages in an assisted living setting, under supervision of registered nurses, advanced practice providers, or physicians.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered
• Ensure resident safety, comfort, and well-being
• Perform testing to evaluate resident status and respond to emergent situations
• Document resident interactions, care outcomes, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary information
• Collaborate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
• Provide education and counseling on prevention and treatment plans
• Support residents' self-care programs and contribute to interdisciplinary care
• Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program leading to licensure as an LPN
• Current licensure as a practical nurse in applicable states

Skills

• Preferred experience in long-term, sub-acute, or medical/surgical care
