LPN - Full Time Nights

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in an assisted living setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' health status and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents.
• Document resident interactions, care outcomes, and related data.
• Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to emergent situations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Counsel residents and families on prevention and treatment plans.
• Perform testing and provide technical support within the full scope of nursing expertise.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program leading to licensure as an LPN.
• Current licensure in the state of practice.
• Preferred experience in long-term, sub-acute, or medical/surgical care.

Skills

• Knowledge of nursing principles and resident education.
• Effective communication and confidentiality maintenance.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team and respond to emergent situations.
