About the role
Join a Regional Float Pool as a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in diverse units such as Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, Oncology, and more.
- Float between designated hospitals within the region.
- Build strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards and maintain licensure.
- Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current LPN license in the state.
- Minimum of one year recent bedside LPN experience for Med/Surg; two years for other specialties.
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, IV certification depending on unit.
