LPN - Regional Float Pool - Full Time - Night

Role Overview

The Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, utilizing theoretical knowledge to inform practice. This position involves floating between multiple hospital facilities within the region, providing care across diverse units such as Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency Department, Oncology, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in various clinical settings
• Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with nursing standards and licensure requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current LPN license in the practicing state
• Minimum of one year recent bed-side LPN experience for Med/Surg; two years for specialty units
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred for critical care roles; IV certification mandatory
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform patient handling tasks
