LPN - Per Diem/PRN

About the Role

This role involves providing patient care using the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed professional. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) floats across multiple departments, including Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, and Medical-Surgical, at various facilities. The position emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and commitment to patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Coordinate care with other departments
• Ensure professional accountability
• Provide flexible, incentivized patient care across multiple shifts and locations
• Participate in scheduling and adapt to last-minute shift changes without guaranteed hours

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Active LPN license
• Recent bedside experience: one year for Med-Surg and two years for other specialties
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and IV certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Epic
