About the role
This role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision or alongside a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care across departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Ensure professional accountability
- Float between various facilities and departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, and Medical-Surgical
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, valid LPN license, and recent bedside experience—one year for Med Surg and two years for other specialties. Certifications include BLS; ACLS, PALS, and IV certification may be required depending on the department.
Physical demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform movements such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.
