LPN Peds Private Duty

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to acutely or chronically ill patients in their homes, following physician prescriptions
• Document patient visits thoroughly in electronic medical records and visit verification systems
• Participate in care coordination by reporting patient needs, attending case conferences, and communicating effectively with patients, families, physicians, and team members
• Ensure adherence to infection control procedures and scope of practice defined by state laws

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted LPN licensure in the practice state
• CPR certification
• Reliable transportation or access to public transit
• Ability to work independently and in diverse home environments

Skills

• Preferred: Home care experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to meet client needs
