About the role
LPN Medication Nurse in a Continuing Care Retirement Community.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications, treatments, IVs, catheters, and blood samples.
- Evaluate patient responses and report adverse reactions following facility policies.
- Provide bedside care and assist in discharge planning.
- Record all care accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with supervisory nurses to set care goals.
Qualifications
- Valid unencumbered Virginia LPN license.
- Two to three years of experience in a skilled setting preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency in medication administration, patient assessment, documentation, and bedside care.
- Ability to evaluate care needs and communicate effectively with team members.
