Responsibilities
- Cook up daily medical operations and nursing workflow within the facility
- Provide direct patient care within scope of practice
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Oversee sick call processes and follow-up care
- Maintain compliance with nursing standards, company policies, and facility procedures
- Absorb accurate documentation and assist with quality assurance initiatives
- Communicate effectively with providers, correctional staff, and facility leadership
- Create a professional, organized, and patient-focused healthcare environment
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and a minimum of one year of experience in a correctional healthcare setting.
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with correctional healthcare protocols are also required.
