Role Overview: The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in senior care settings, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication AdministrationAccurately document in MAR/TAR in real-timeMonitor residents for symptoms, adverse reactions, and changes in physical, emotional, or cognitive healthReport refusals, adverse reactions, and health concerns promptlyTranscribe physician orders and support care plan updatesMaintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with safety standards Qualifications & Skills: Active LPN license in good standingCPR and First Aid certificationStrong assessment, documentation, and clinical skillsExperience in senior care or medication administration is preferred Key Attributes: Attention to detail, commitment to resident safety, regulatory adherence, and excellent communication skills.
