Role Overview The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in a senior living environment, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication AdministrationAccurately document in MAR/TAR in real timeMonitor symptoms, report adverse reactions or refusals promptlyConduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician ordersObserve and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residentsMaintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulations Qualifications & Skills Active LPN license in good standingCPR and First Aid certificationStrong assessment and documentation skillsExperience in senior care or medication administration preferred The role is vital for preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and ensuring resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence.
