About the role

The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in senior living settings, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. The role emphasizes clinical precision, resident safety, and adherence to regulatory standards to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Monitor resident symptoms, report adverse reactions, and conduct health updates
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residents
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred
