About the role
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse responsible for providing safe and accurate medication administration, health monitoring, and clinical documentation in a senior living environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders
- Ensure accurate documentation in MAR/TAR in real-time
- Monitor residents for symptoms, adverse reactions, and health changes
- Report any issues promptly and support care plan updates
- Maintain medication carts, conduct narcotic counts, and adhere to compliance standards
- Observe physical, emotional, or cognitive changes and report accordingly
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in good standing
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred
