LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Acute Care Telemetry Unit

About the Role

Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for patient care, assessment, planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policies.
• Contribute data to assessments, address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Reinforce education, discharge planning, and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to meet patient needs and participate in evidence-based decision-making.
• Mentor new staff and students, and participate in unit-based activities and performance appraisals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
• Interest in Cardiac Nursing Care; previous cardiac experience preferred but willing to learn.
• Strong communication, compassionate care, and teamwork skills.

Schedule

Shifts from 7pm to 7:30am, every other weekend and holiday.
