LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry Unit

Responsibilities

• Contributing data for assessments within scope of practice and standards
• Addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families
• Reinforcing patient and family education, discharge planning, and ensuring smooth care transitions
• Administering treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies following policies
• Evaluating care effectiveness and patient responses to interventions
• Collaborating with physicians, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participating in evidence-based practice decision-making and providing input on team performance
• Precepting and mentoring new staff and students in a professional manner

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Nursing
• Strong communication, teamwork, and assessment skills
• Ability to coordinate patient care and promote safety and satisfaction

Schedule

Clinical environment with shifts typically from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., including every other weekend and holiday requirements.
