LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry Unit

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostic tests
• Assessing patient needs
• Contributing to assessments based on scope of practice and standards
• Addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families throughout care
• Reinforcing patient and family education, discharge planning, and evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs and participate in evidence-based practice decisions
• Mentoring new staff and students, and contributing to unit-based decision-making

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate from a recognized nursing training program
• Strong communication, collaboration, and compassionate care skills
• Ability to coordinate care and promote patient safety and satisfaction
