About the role

The Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides compassionate patient care, contributing to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care within a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostics
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Educate patients and families
• Evaluate intervention effectiveness
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in evidence-based practice decisions
• Mentor new staff and students
• Promote safety and patient satisfaction

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing specialty training program
• Preferably with cardiac care interest
• Able to work in a dynamic environment
• Meet all scope of practice requirements

Schedule

Work hours are typically evenings with every other weekend and holiday shifts.
