Role Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides comprehensive nursing care within a healthcare team to patients, families, and caregivers in a medical practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document patient measurements and data
• Assist with examinations and treatments
• Support patient self-care and adherence to care plans
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe environment
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and respond to patient needs

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Current New York State LPN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or able to obtain within 6 weeks
• Strong collaboration, communication, and clinical skills
