About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides general nursing care to patients, families, and caregivers within a medical practice setting. They assist and advocate for patient health, collaborating with physicians, registered nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather patient data and prepare patients for examinations
• Assist with procedures and support self-care plans
• Maintain a safe environment, equipment, and supplies
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives
• Adhere to professional standards and policies

Requirements

• Licensed in New York State as an LPN
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include advanced nursing degrees.
