About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient care aligned with developmental needs and hospital policies, under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Reassess pain levels and educate patients and families on pain management
- Monitor for adverse changes in patient condition
- Stay current on medication administration
- Operate medical equipment correctly
- Interact professionally with patients and families
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current New York State Practical Nursing Registration
- CPR certification
Skills
- Strong assessment, observation, and communication skills
- Knowledge of medications and patient education
- Ability to operate medical equipment correctly
Pay
$22 to $28 per hour
