Key Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive assessments under supervision of an RN or provider
- Assessing and managing patient pain, educating patients and families on pain relief
- Monitoring patient condition for adverse changes and notifying appropriate staff
- Administering medications accurately and maintaining knowledge of drug protocols
- Engaging professionally with patients and families, involving them in education
- Properly cleaning and operating medical equipment
- Performing additional duties as required
Qualifications
- Current New York State Practical Nursing Registration
- CPR certification
Pay & Schedule
- Full-time employment
- Shift hours: 8.5 per day
