About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients, families, and caregivers within a healthcare practice setting. They collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Gathering patient data and measurements
• Assisting with examinations and treatments
• Supporting self-care and management plans
• Maintaining equipment, supplies, and a safe environment
• Promoting quality improvement through ongoing education and teamwork
• Performing within the standards set by the NYS Education Law, Office of Professions, and State Nurse Practice Act
• Adhering to policies and actively participating in care initiatives

Qualifications

• Current NYS licensure as an LPN
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing
