About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient care aligned with developmental needs and hospital policies, under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments with RN or provider support
- Assess and educate patients on pain management
- Monitor for adverse condition changes and notify appropriate staff
- Administer medications accurately and maintain current knowledge
- Interact professionally with patients and families, involving them in education
- Clean and operate medical equipment correctly
- Perform additional duties as required
Requirements
- Current New York State Practical Nursing Registration
- CPR certification
