LPN - Cardiac Intermediate

About the role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or guidance of licensed healthcare professionals. Maintains professional accountability, coordinates care with other departments, and upholds patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-acuity care in a busy, team-oriented setting
• Manage therapies such as chest tubes, lytic therapy, antidysrhythmics, vasopressors, oxygen systems, insulin drips, and sedatives
• Collaborate with other units for cross-training opportunities
• Support patient safety and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
• Valid LPN license
• BLS certification
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients
• Open to new or experienced LPNs
• IV certification preferred
