About the role
Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or alongside a Registered Nurse. The role is based in a 28-bed intermediate ICU, caring for post-operative cardiothoracic, vascular, and medical overflow patients, with opportunities for cross-training and career advancement into ICU units.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating care with other departments
- Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
- Delivering compassionate, high-acuity care in a busy, team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN licensure
- BLS certification
- Physical ability to perform duties
Preferred certifications include IV certification.
