About the role

The Lodgekeeping Driver ensures safe transportation of staff to assigned areas and maintains cleanliness of all designated Public/Common spaces according to Yellowstone Club Cleaning Standards. This seasonal position runs from November to April.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding guest service by greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, upholding service standards, and demonstrating professionalism.
  • Guarantee total guest satisfaction, handle transactions ethically, and maintain confidentiality and security in all visited areas.
  • Apply property safety and security procedures to ensure a secure environment; report accidents or emergencies immediately.
  • Foster a positive working relationship with all employees to promote a collaborative environment.
  • Adhere to driver safety precautions: wear seat belts, observe speed limits, ensure passengers are buckled, and avoid risky behavior.
  • Inspect vehicles regularly for issues and report any damage to a supervisor.
  • Drive team members to and from assigned areas, including employee housing, the Club, and other designated stops.
  • Support Lodgekeepers in cleaning and maintaining Public/Common areas, locker rooms, restrooms, offices, and employee spaces.
  • Keep cleaning supplies, carts, linen rooms, and equipment organized and well-stocked.
  • Operate within Lodgekeeping teams to achieve efficiency and high-quality service.
  • Assist with laundry as needed and prepare new venues or buildings for opening.
  • Comply with all Club policies, procedures, and OSHA chemical handling standards.
  • Assign duties or provide instructions to other Lodgekeepers or team members as needed.
  • Complete required training and perform duties in a timely, efficient manner.
  • Maintain productivity, punctuality, and consistency standards.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and management.
  • Present a clean, neat appearance and project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club at all times.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with potential for long shifts due to business demands.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or vocational training.
  • 3 months of experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or commercial laundry settings; hospitality experience preferred.
  • Valid US or International Driver’s License.
  • At least 19 years old with 3 years of driving experience.
  • Basic computer and technology knowledge.
  • Ability to speak clearly and write legibly for effective communication with Members, guests, and staff.
  • Basic math skills for calculations.
  • Problem-solving ability and knowing when to seek managerial assistance.

Work Environment

The role is primarily performed in climate-controlled environments but may require working outside in extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, snow, or inclement weather.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently talk, hear, and lift up to 25-50 pounds.
  • Constantly use hands and fingers to handle or lift items.
  • Regularly sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or reach.
  • Drive for extended periods, requiring sustained attention and alertness.
  • Maintain visual acuity to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in cleaning and driving tasks.
  • Adhere to safety standards and Club policies while operating vehicles.
