Seeking a Gastroenterologist to provide inpatient and outpatient care at a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform 18 outpatient and 20 inpatient scopes daily
- Manage endoscopy procedures
- Handle consults within standard hours
- Work with a team of 2 physicians and 2 APPs
- Utilize onsite lab and X-ray facilities
- Document care in the Cerner EMR
- Provide endoscopy coverage
- Provide patient consults
- Provide quality care in a hospital environment
Qualifications
- MI license
- DEA certification
- Experience in gastroenterology
Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Ability to manage inpatient and outpatient cases
- Effective team collaboration
Schedule
The schedule includes daytime hours with no night call, but 24-hour weekend call coverage is required.
