Locum Tenens - Gastroenterology

About the role

Gastroenterologist providing inpatient and outpatient care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Conducting endoscopies (18 outpatient and 20 inpatient scopes daily)
• Managing consults
• Delivering comprehensive gastroenterology services within hospital hours (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• On‑site support includes laboratory and X‑ray services

Qualifications and Skills

• MI medical license
• DEA certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Ability to perform endoscopic procedures

Key Duties

• Provide consults
• Perform endoscopies
• Collaborate with a team of 2 physicians and 2 APPs
• Ensure quality patient care in both inpatient and clinic settings
