Locum Tenens - Gastroenterology

Role Overview: Seeking a Gastroenterologist to provide inpatient and outpatient care in a hospital setting. The position involves performing approximately 18 outpatient and 20 inpatient scopes daily, managing endoscopy procedures and consults within standard hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no night call. The provider will handle 24-hour weekend call shifts during specified periods. Responsibilities: Conduct endoscopies, manage patient consults, and collaborate with a team of 2 physicians and 2 advanced practitioners. Support staff and onsite facilities include lab and X-ray services, with an EMR system in place. Qualifications & Skills: Must hold a valid MI license and DEA registration. The role requires experience in gastroenterology, proficiency with endoscopy procedures, and the ability to work within hospital and clinic environments effectively.
