About the role
Seeking a Gastroenterology physician to provide inpatient coverage in Longview, TX, due to a vacation. Inpatient setting with duties centered on consults and procedures, focusing on providing quality patient care during assigned shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient consults, ED consults, and manage transfers
- Handle approximately 8-12 hours of patient-facing care within 24 hours
- Conduct 5-7 consults and perform 3-6 scopes
- Preferred procedure includes ERCP
Qualifications
- Licensed in TX only (no IMLC)
- Proficient in EMR systems such as Athena or Medhost
