Locum Tenens - Gastroenterology

Seeking a Gastroenterologist for coverage in a hospital located in Bay City, MI. The role involves providing specialized care with ERCP procedures required. Responsibilities include managing patient cases, supporting hospitalist teams, and working within a community with two colorectal surgeons. The GI clinic is conveniently located less than half a mile from the hospital. Schedule: Monday 7am-7am Thursday, Friday 7am-7pm call; no weekend call. Coverage spans 24 hours from Monday to Thursday and 12 hours on Friday. Key duties: Deliver gastroenterology services, perform ERCP, collaborate with hospital staff, and participate in patient care within a small-town setting offering urban amenities. Qualifications & Skills: Board certification in Gastroenterology, proficiency in ERCP, and ability to work independently in a community hospital environment.
