Local Contract Radiation Therapist - $66-70 per hour

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Radiation Therapist for a local contract job in Northridge, California.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in radiation therapy.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
• Monitor and adjust treatment parameters as necessary.
• Document patient treatments and progress in medical records.
• Communicate with patients and their families regarding treatment procedures and outcomes.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in California.
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred.
• Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients and medical staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.

Skills

• Proficiency in radiation therapy equipment operation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
