Local Contract Radiation Therapist - $62-66 per hour

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Radiation Therapist for a local contract job in Jackson, Mississippi.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
• Monitor and adjust treatment parameters as necessary.
• Document patient treatments and progress in medical records.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in the state of Mississippi.
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.

Skills

• Proficiency with radiation therapy equipment.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
