About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Radiation Therapist for a local contract job in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in radiation therapy treatments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in Wisconsin.
- Experience in radiation therapy preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
Skills
- Proficiency in using radiation therapy equipment.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
