Local Contract Radiation Therapist - $62-66 per hour

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Radiation Therapist for a local contract job in Columbus, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in radiation therapy treatments.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
• Monitor patients during treatments and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain records.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in the state of Ohio.
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.

Skills

• Proficiency in radiation therapy equipment operation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
