Local Contract Radiation Therapist - $62-66 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Radiation Therapist for a 13-week job in Wichita, Kansas starting October 18, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Document patient treatments and results accurately.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in the state of Kansas.
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.

Skills

• Proficiency with radiation therapy equipment.
• Knowledge of radiation therapy protocols and safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
