Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Radiation Therapist for a 13-week duration at a local contract job in Greenwood, Mississippi.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in radiation therapy treatments.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
• Monitor and adjust treatment parameters as necessary during therapy sessions.
• Document patient information and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in Mississippi.
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
