About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Radiation Therapist for a local contract job in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
- Monitor and adjust treatment parameters as necessary.
- Document patient treatments and progress in medical records.
- Communicate with patients and their families regarding treatment procedures and outcomes.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in Wisconsin.
- Experience in radiation therapy preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
- Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- Current certification as a Registered Radiation Therapist (RRT).
Skills
- Proficiency with radiation therapy equipment and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
