Local Contract Operating Room RN - $38-44 per hour

About the role

A local hospital in the Baltimore area is seeking a contract RN for an 13-week assignment in the OR/Operating Room. The position requires the ability to scrub and circulate, though strong circulators are also considered. The unit averages 60 cases per day and does not handle trauma or cardiac cases. Located near the inner harbor and close to Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons
• Prepare operating rooms for surgery
• Monitor patient vital signs during and after surgery
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Maryland
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in OR setting preferred

• Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends
