About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions
- Manage patient flow and assist with emergency situations
Requirements
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including 12-hour days
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Skills
- Strong communication skills

Schedule
36 hours per week, 12 hours shift, days.
