About the role
We are seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position offers 36 hours per week, with shifts of 12 hours, days.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Manage sterile field and equipment during surgeries
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams and patients
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
Requirements
- Current RN license in Oklahoma
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and anesthesia management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passing scores from the NCLEX-RN exam
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current CPR certification
