About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Lenexa, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift, days
- Operate in an environment with 343 beds, 1:1 patient ratios, and specialized equipment including Meditech documentation system
- Follow unit-specific scheduling and policies, with no floating privileges except in relation to COVID
- Participate in patient experience activities as required
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
Skills
- Proficiency with Meditech documentation system
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
